Plumb's Web and Native Apps

Branding
Plumb’s has been the gold-standard veterinary drug formulary for decades. I partnered with another designer to modernize the digital product, addressing major UX issues that had contributed to a 1.9 App Store rating. The work included a new logo and a fully redesigned UX/UI alongside the launch of Plumb’s Pro, resulting in improved searchability, easier content discovery, and a 4.9 App Store rating.
This redesign helped improve the App Store rating from 1.9 to 4.9
New logo and updated branding
Coinciding with the launch of Plumb’s Pro, the premium version of Plumb’s, I created a new logo and updated the branding.
Fully rebuilt navigation
Search was reworked to be a click away and content types, tools, and favorites were grouped more intuitively.
Overhauled search experience
Improved search by exposing content type filters and fitting more search results on the screen by reducing the amount of content in each card.
User validated design
During user interviews we realized the need to add a content type tag above titles to more clearly differentiate between content that shared the same title.
Quick access to related tools and key content sections
Added easy to find buttons to important tools and content supporting better patient safety and pet owner satisfaction.
Created tools to improve on-page information findability
Drug pages are very content heavy and tools like “Close All / Open All” and “Find on Page” provided quick ways to find exactly what a user was looking for on the page.
Improved handout management
Drug and Clinical Handouts now allow for grouping multiple PDFs together to more easily share with pet owners.
More intuitive interaction checker search
Added clear separation between global search and interaction checker search to avoid confusion.
Better organization and hierarchy of interaction results
Improved interaction checker UX by grouping interaction results and ordering them from most dangerous to least dangerous.
