The transition from Brief Media to VetMedux marked more than a name change—it signaled a strategic transformation from media publisher to data-driven veterinary technology company. With flagship products like Plumb’s complementing the long-standing Clinician’s Brief, the organization had outgrown its original identity. The website was designed as the centerpiece of that reintroduction: articulating a refined mission, unifying a growing product ecosystem, and establishing a forward-looking brand built to support the next chapter of veterinary innovation.
A new logo to lead the rebrand effort
While not far removed from the minimal aesthetic of the former Brief Media logo, the new VetMedux logo carries that established confidence into a more forward-looking identity. The arrow embedded within the “X” nods to the Latin root dux, meaning “guide,” while subtly referencing “UX” to underscore the company’s leadership and focus on user experience.
Leading with vet-centered imagery to reinforce the core brand message
As VetMedux repositioned itself around trusted education and time-saving tools for modern veterinary teams, the homepage hero played a critical role in communicating that shift. A relatable, vet-centered image, color treated to align with the refreshed brand palette, added authenticity and credibility, helping introduce the company’s next chapter with clarity and confidence.

Dramatic shadows, modern gradients, and the signature arrow from the logo were woven throughout the interface—appearing in buttons, cards, and iconography—to create a cohesive visual system rooted in the brand’s new identity.
